Message from Principal

The staff of Cistercian College join with me this morning in offering our congratulations to each member of the LC class of 2020 who have just received their LC results. This is the end of a long journey for them since the closure of all schools in March. They have shown great patience in dealing with all of the changes and unanswered questions. Their results were available online from 9am this morning. Below is a link to the Government website, it contains online resources which may help them in understanding the next stage of the process.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Leaving Cert class of 2020 every success in the next phase of their journey in life. This class group worked so well during their time with us and we had anticipated a very strong performance from them in their Leaving Cert exams. This class group also worked well outside of the classroom and their co-curricular successes gave us so many opportunities to celebrate and to be proud of them. These successes coupled with their very good behaviour helped to promote our College in a very positive way. I will always be grateful to this class group for their contribution to CCR.

We did not get to celebrate their Graduation but we hope to do so later in this year. Until then as they begin their new journey I want to remind them to always maintain a strong work ethic in everything that they do – this will help them to reach their unique potential. Furthermore to always have respect for themselves, to show respect to those around them and to have respect for the environment.
