This morning we had a private Mass celebrated in the College Chapel by our Patron Fr. Malachy. We prayed for all members of our College Community – students, parents, past students, staff and our monks. We are aware that this is a stressful and challenging time for all.

We will continue to engage with you over the period of this closure – phone calls to our parents from our housemasters and work sent to our students electronically by our teachers.

The College Management team remain working onsite but to ensure the safety of all they have minimised their personal contact – all communications with them have been via phone and email.

There is much speculation on when the schools will reopen and also about the state examinations. There is no decision on reopening and the only decision on exams was issued to both parents and students yesterday. All further official updates will be sent to parents and students as soon as we receive them.

In the meantime we will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. To our students we encourage you to keep working and to stay engaged. To all of you keep safe and take care.
